how the weeks,then months,fly by....getting old.

a weekend passes by,
and before i know it,
i'm sitting here compiling my mid-week shopping-list.
and then,
before i've hardly drawn breath,
and decided what to have in my weekend hotpot,
i'm busy preparing it.

i've had my mother over for a couple of hours,
as i do on a saturday morning.
it gets her out of the hours.
escorted her back home,
slowly working my way through 3ltrs of tramp juice,
and building myself up for another week.

the warm weather seems to holding up pretty well,
no thunder-storms yet.
there must surely be some rain due.
it's how our hot-spells usually end isn't it.
mustn't complain though.

not sleeping good,
but i seem to get by.
