now THERE'S a thought.

a bee-keeper ( okay apiarist Rolling Eyes ),
traced his bees too a local food-processing plant,
where they were feeding on waste mint fondant. Very Happy

i suppose that if the feeding habits of bees can be influenced,
all sorts of flavours might be possible.

interesting. study

Always a problem, Eric. Himalayan balsam has been so aggressive on some river banks that bees have been feeding on it exclusively to the detriment of their traditional honey flavour and colour. Balsam honey is fine but it isn't what the keepers' historic trade is in and it is more and more common.
