I know.....I did it in East London in it's heyday. I had a seven seater which was quite rare then and got a lot of tasty work.
In 1983 there were 4 cab offices in the stretch from Maryland to Chingford where I operated ..... there's now 15!!

Can believe it mate, where i am now have only 30 cars but we are just out of the city. When i worked in the city we had 130 cars, and two other firms had 100+
