In the same way Carling's a cooking lager, Tone - you can drink Carling all day, it won't offend anyone and it will get you pissed but you get the feeling that's why it exists. No-one drinks Carling for the body, it's inoffensive juice.

I like an ale, even an IPA, to be something I wouldn't turn my back on in a dark alley.
