Yes always was American punk stuff Snake. However seen a few done like this with 80s type of electronica does make a pleasant change for us older end. Very Happy

No, I do admit it's unusual...

I had a trawl through YouTube and found this - it's an interview with skate/punk photographer Glen Friedman. The interviewer is a bit dizzy though...

My younger sister was in the club ( cant remember which) when Phil Oakey discovered Susan and Joanne. And her schoolfriend married (i think) Martin Fry.

There's an excellent book on the whole Sheffield electronica movement, called somewhat unimaginatively Made In Sheffield, with an accompanying DVD.

I used to be very interested in that whole scene, especially early Human League (before the girls!) and Artery, who were always Jarvis Cocker's favourite band - and Martin Russian, of They Might Be Russians, printed my first fanzine when I was an ickle 13-year-old.

Just found this on YouTube - a really quite clever video to accompany my favourite HL track, Black Hit Of Space.

Nice insight Snake, Jack my 15yo son has always got this stuff on along with rap, must me part on the online gaming culture as opposed to true skaters....this is the kind of stuff too
