Cleaning trainers advice
Got some grass and soil stains on my Adidas trainers this afternoon, usually bang them in the washer but i'm not sure about these type with the nylon and suede, was thinking of trying some vax shampoo and hot water

Don't put them in the washing machine. Ruins shoes and ruins drum.

Don't get me wrong, MG, the "pillow case, low temperature" is not wasted on me but all advice I've ever been given in recent times suggests that washing machines aren't built for the job any more and everything from panels to stitching is weakened by the bleaching agents in the detergent.
It's a pity, because it makes the job a piece of piss otherwise.
So, mature housewife, not put off by a size 11, eh... (#2 of 2011)

Now you're just doing that to titillate me.
You don't have to stop. Consider yourself applauded, that's a good one
