My brain has melted

Our central heating packed up a week ago so we booked an engineer to fix it and it cost £192 at British Gas...they do a one off payment offer, irrespective of what work they have to do.
The geezer has just walked in half hour ago and instantly told us that the switch to the right of the timer is in the 'off' position!!.....It appears my fucking wife has knocked it putting the broom back in the cupboard it's in......He has told us that he will inform his office and they MAY reduce it from the original amount to £100!!
Seething is not the word.
