checking out websites relating to depression.*boring thread alert*
i don't really buy into this depression trip,
don't know,
not sure.
so full of doubt.
feelings of extreme fatigue, mental and physical.
not really interested in tomorrow,
or whether or not there will actually BE a tomorrow.
feeling miserable.
well that's life isn't it?
ABKO DID raise some fair points in a thread that i started.
time to buck-up and move myself eh?
well what if i don't want to?
can't be bothered.
and there doesn't seem to be any point.
and there's this "quality of life" lobby.
and it's all gonna get sorted in your ten minute slot with the gp.
yeah right.
i need qualified opinions from somebody.
maybe i can find somebody online.
we'll see.

Everything is relative eric, like the question in the survey "do you consider yourself a failure?"
At first we might think yes we do a bit or a lot because we think/moan what more we could or should have or might want but in reality, if you are an educated decent person who holds down a full time job to pay the bills on the home you own and provide for yourself and a partner who you have procreated with as per your purpose in existence to further the species, then you should realise you are a success who has achieved what many people can't or don't.
So that answer should be "not at all" though I concede you could score "a little" if you're just feelng pissed off with some things atm as that's okay, everybody feels down every now and then.
Compared to most people on this planet, if we have a job, home, income, aren't hungry or being persecuted or dieing through illness or war, are free and have generally choice in what we do, we are fucking lucky as well as successful.
Same with most of the questions, it's just about how your mind is wired atm, as Brian said on the cross "always look on the bright side of life, da dum, da da da da dum"

maybe you're right boat,
and maybe i don't want to change it,
tweak maybe.
and ABKO has given me much to think about.
he IS right of course.
maybe he should consider counselling as a career option.
he as posted one or to quite profound observations.
and a perspective that has surprised me somewhat.
