Nice morning

Had a small one venue wedding in Bath Registry office today so decided to take the train.

10 min walk to the train station , and then 30 mins to Bath, Bath train station is just down the road from the Registry

Registry was built in about 1775 (photo from wiki)



Then a short walk around the corner to Parade gardens , its normally £1 each to get in, but the old boy on the gate let us in for free as it was a wedding, seeing as there was 30 people , that was nice

All done in an hour, then had an hour to kill before train back home, so a couple of pints in the pub opposite the Roman baths to kill time

Lovely place Kit, only been the once, Bev has a niece who lives and works (MOD) there. Coincidence is that they are visiting up here this weekend

ahh I got them to show.

It is a nice place , luckily most of the architecture survived the German remodelling in the 1940's

Bath was beautiful when I visited it in 1975.
