i usually lie on the bed dozing,
and go downstairs when she comes to bed.

but if i had fallen asleep,
and i've woken up with a hangover.

maybe she just decided to leave me there.
maybe she tried to wake me up and i got arsie,i hope not.
she doesn't need that shit.

i've never been one for drunk and disorderly,
and there is no excusing it,
but when you're living a totally miserable life,
and you've forgotten what happiness is,
and you've drunk maybe more than you ought to have.

we have days when we speak,
and days when we don't.
today,we don't seem to be,
so i shall probably never know.
