I've found a Dutch version where a half kilo bag retails at under a pound. And they are fucking amazing. I can't get my onions like that but they jazz up just about anything

I know, Tone, but a bag lasts forever - you need a tiny sprinkling and they add something I can't produce.

On another note, I made a stew in the slow cooker today and were it not so hot, I could re-enact the pie scene in American Pie with it... Everything in it. Bang on.

Lovely utensil.

I live by the sea......local fishermen sell their catches to the public by the pier....There's a wonderful smoking shed nearby too.
Better than sex......and smells the same.

Been foraging fungi of various sorts ...love proper wild edible mushrooms.  Blewits are lush but finished now till later in the year

Had a few St Georges mushrooms the other day growing on the banking at the side of the bowling green. Anymore fans of these sex organs?

It is mate. Hope your well Tone? ive been on a long rollercoaster ride with my health ...seems like a few bad genes , dysfunctional autoimmune system and systemic disease. I'm a regular at the Yorkshire heart centre in Leeds and waiting to here shortly about the op on my Aorta and Ascending Arch ...seems like ive had infective endocarditis for a while that's has sped this op up.

Fuck me mate.....is this forum cursed?
You, Bert, me.....all in dreadful health, plus Eric went insane.

I've had two major ops in the last three and a half years.....They found an aneurysm in my aorta behind my belly button the size of a lemon that was about to burst and kill me and put a 9 inch long upside down Y shaped stent in.......after 6 months it developed a kink in it.....I couldn't walk as no blood was reaching my legs.....Lived with it for 6 months then they decided to put a stent inside the existing stent.....Fucked up the op, introduced bacteria into my system and two weeks later I developed sepsis and kidney failure.....Ended up in intensive care for 10 days fighting for my life on a dialysis machine and being pumped with antibiotics.....and as soon as I got out and onto a ward they said we now have to operate....They cut me from between my nipples to my pubic area, a 17 inch incision, took out the old stent and used bovine grafts to rebuild my entire aorta.....My heart stopped twice during the 8 hours of surgery they told me......Back into intensive care for another two weeks. Ended up being in hospital 2 months....came home two stone lighter and mentally shafted.......have now developed an incisional hernia that makes me look 8 months pregnant and my feet are crippled with peripheral neuropathy and Rheumatoid Arthritis brought about by 6 months use of a hideous drug called metronidazole.
When I was young my old nan used to say to me "Your health is your wealth Tony".....I didn't know what the fuck she meant....I do now.

Great to see you back here Guy.
Please stay.

If you have your health you are rich beyond your wildest dreams.
Don't believe me?.......Ask any billionaire with terminal cancer if he'd give every last penny he had to be cured.

Chocolate pretzels are bang on because they don't do what they're meant to - they've got that bit of salt about them that sets off the chocolate.

Snyder's you'll find in pretty much any Tesco in the American section with the Lucky Charms and Nerds. They are fucking magic

They're awesome, Tone. Burt's make really good crisps anyway but their Guinness ones are excellent - they do Guinness, Rich Chilli Guinness and Toasted Cheese Guinness. I'd take any of the three but the toasted cheese I would stockpile.

Jonesy, there is no problem eating a ploughman's with a pint of Guinness.

The crisps just produce that experience in a very convenient form and currently for £1.19 in Aldi for the bigger bag (you have to be lucky, they're a limited stock item, but fortune favours the brave).

The only way you could better it I suppose is if you had some shellfish on the go...

Found my pretzels a fifth off the other day.

In other, related news, I was fined £250 for masturbating in the aisles of a large Tesco
