Greek islands, I remember my brother doing the same. Fell asleep on the beach, lucky to get away with a bad burn that left a faint scar but wasn't bad enough to need hospitalisation or repatriation.

i got burnt quite bad on my first holiday in rimini with my friends , couldnt go out for a couple of nights was only 16 , i would hate to think of my daughter going alone and shes 16

Only ever badly burned myself once. Quite spectacularly (there was a reason for it) it was in northern England in May and I was only out for about four hours total. Fried like bacon, it wasn't pretty.

To resolve the daughter issue, go with her.

Then, when you've sent her off for ice creams or WKDs, you can go for cheeky snaps this time and use a digital camera.
